CATTLE ELISA

Application

  • BioPRYN is accurate at 28 days post breeding or greater in cows and 25 days post breeding in heifers or greater by AI or last exposure to the bull. Additionally, embryo transfer recipients can be tested at 25 days post implant (e.g. 32 days age of embryo). Cows must also be 73 days post calving or greater. 

  • We need about 2 ccs of blood in a red top or tiger top tube or 1 cc of serum. 

Pricing, Submission Form and Schedule

  • The cost per sample is $3.00 and samples are run daily, Monday through Friday with the results the next business day. 

  • Rush (same day testing, previously known as BioPRYN Quick) testing is available. Please email (amber@herdhealthdiagnostics.com) or text (509.715.1131) a picture of your submission form and tracking number prior to shipping. Once received your RUSH testing will be coordinated.

  • Herd Health Diagnostics is closed all major holidays.

  • Download and fill out the submission form below and include in your shipment with the samples and payment.

Shipping

  • Samples may be shipped through any carrier (USPS, FedEx & UPS) and any method without ice. Please note that we recommend shipping in a cardboard box and NOT padded envelopes.
